Operation Humanity is a provincial movement of student leaders who want to take a collective stand against the many interconnected issues our society faces today. Operation Humanity provides a much needed forum for discussion about social problems that students are passionate about. Our members address human rights violations, environmental irresponsibility and poverty. Members promote public awareness and understanding of global issues through the organization of various events and activities throughout the province. It is a completely student-run project funded by members and donors.
Started in Summer 2009, Operation Humanity is building a foundation Ontario students can look to for support in their endeavours within their own schools. Many members of Operation Humanity are already active in their school and community. The "Peace Forum" allows students to discuss pressing issues, share ideas of past events and learn from peers.
